alveus is a member of Ethical Tea Partnership.
The Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) is a non-profit organization that works with tea companies, development agencies, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, to tackle the deep-rooted issues that are holding back the sustainability of the tea sector.
These includes:
- improving the incomes and well-being of farmers and workers,
- raising awareness of discrimination and harassment,
- improving living conditions and nutrition,
- improving the working environment for employees,
- improving the lives and opportunities for women and young people in tea communities and reducing gender-based violence,
- promoting equal employment opportunities for men and women,
- improving climate change resilience
Premium not only means the highest quality, but also respect for people and nature. This is what the work of the Ethical Tea Partnership stands for. Together we are working to create a fairer, more sustainable tea industry for tea workers, farmers and the environment.
